The Usage method of 1kg ABC Dry Power Fire Extinguisher
The most commonly used opening method of dry powder fire
extinguisher is the pressing handle method. After the fire
extinguisher is lifted to a proper distance from the fire source,
the dry powder in the cylinder is turned upside down several times
to make the dry powder in the cylinder loose. Then, the nozzle is
aligned with the most violent burning place, the safety pin is
pulled out, and the pressure handle is pressed down, and the fire
extinguishing agent will spray out to extinguish the fire. In
addition, rotation method can be used. When turning on the dry
powder fire extinguisher, hold the middle part of the fire with the
left hand, align the nozzle with the root of the flame, pull out
the safety card with the right hand, rotate the opening knob
clockwise to open the gas cylinder, and the dry powder will be
ejected to extinguish the fire when the delay time is 1-4 seconds.
